Lamb of God continues its journey through Lent with a look at the Penitential Psalms. The series resumes with a meditation on Psalm 51 this Wednesday, March 10, with Compline at 6:45 p.m. A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m.
The Divine Service is celebrated every Wednesday at 8:20 a.m., and every Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
During Lent, the alleluias and the Gloria in Excelsis ("Glory to God in the highest, and peace to His people on earth!") disappear from the liturgy and hymnody, returning for the festive Easter season in celebration of Christ's resurrection.
