What's Going On?
- July 16, 2008 - Beginning Sunday, August 3, Lamb of God will offer the service of Corporate Confession and Absolution on the first Sunday of every month. The service will be held in the nave at 8:40 a.m., prior to the 9:00 a.m. Divine Service.
On all other Sundays, Pr. Smallwood will offer private Confession and Absolution in his study, beginning at 8:00 a.m., prior to the 9:00 a.m. Divine Service.
- April 27, 2008 - The Reverend Sean Smallwood was installed as pastor at Lamb of God Lutheran Church during a special Divine Service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, April 27.
The Reverend John Wille, President of the South Wisconsin District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, installed Pr. Smallwood. The Reverend Fred Bischoff, Regional Vice President, delivered the sermon. The Reverend Kelly Leary, St. John Lutheran Church, Merrill, Wisconsin, served as liturgist.
Music was provided by the students of Christ Lutheran Academy and Lamb of God's Sunday School, as well as the Adult Choir from Lamb of God. Some 150 were in attendance.
