Lamb of God Lutheran Church

Tell Me About...

The Liturgy

When you attend a service at Lamb of God, you will notice that we follow a set order of service, as printed in our hymnal Lutheran Service Book.

The order of service follows the same pattern the early Christians used. Holy Scripture is the basis for all spoken word during the Divine Service. Scripture readings are taken from an historic pericopal list that has been used by the Church for centuries. Hymns are selected carefully to teach Biblical truths and to support the Scripture readings each week.

Lamb of God Lutheran Church offers the Lord' Supper every Sunday morning at 9:00 am, and every Wednesday evening at 6:45 pm.

Welcome!

The weeks and months following Trinity Sunday are what the church terms "Ordinary Times." In the historic one-year series of readings, these are known as the Sundays after Trinity, when we learn about the growth of the Christian church in the early days--and today.

The Divine Service is celebrated every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., and every Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

All are welcome at Lamb of God! Please, join us.
